Song of Praise

 Love knew no bounds

I understood, when I saw You..

You lift me up from the grounds,

Before I stumble and fall through.

You hold me in Your arms,

And protect me from my foes 

You form a pillar against my storms,

And stand for me at my lows.

As I walk through the burrows,

You guide me with your light.

You are the greatest of all heroes

And my shining armor- knight.

I will hold on to you, with all my might

And I will not let go of your hand.

For I look up to you, as my sunlight,

Until the day I shall return as sand.

Love on the Cross

 Life was great and happy, until

I walked into a path, not knowing

That it would make my life stand still,

And push me into a deeper harrowing.

I tried many times to swim through it

But my feeble self, couldn't help;

To pull myself from the pit

and all l could was to sit and yelp

I lifted my eyes up to the sky;

Saw someone reaching out to me

I was afraid, if I could rely,

Voice came, “Trust, you shall see”

I was freed from all my bounded chains

By a death, I would never come across

For He, took over all my pains

As He let go Himself on the cross

How shall I ever repay?

The love and the sacrifice, He made.

Wonder if I can make it up to Him, in any way

But,I guess it will remain forever,unpaid.

Can't we..?

 Take one step at a time

Said a wise man once

But which one to take; I whined

Looking for some guidance.

This is what you are good at, some said

No, this is the future, said some.

Throw me some light, I plead,

They thought, I was playing dumb.

What you sow is what you reap they say

But, What future holds, no one knows

For all the uncertainty we fall prey

And blame it on, for what we chose

None can live someone else dreams;

The realisation, hits you much later

Once you start to hear your inner screams

You are living the life of a stranger 

Can't we live now.. in the present 

This day, this hour, this second 

No worries for what future holds, happy and content 

Like there is nothing beneath nor beyond.
