WHY??

The closeness couldn't cover up,

The distances between our heart

Nor the thoughts that lineup

Could give a hint where to start?

As the memories come flourishing by

Of the past, Piercing my heart

And Love,as deep as neither can deny

Days, when distances couldn't keep us apart.

But it all vanished into thin air,

Like the bubble that flew high

To a place, none could ever hear

And the question remains...why??

A part of you...

Some are meant to be a part of you;

A part not erased nor touched by time.

Unaware of the bonding that subsequently grew,

And stayed within you, like the unforgotten rhyme

Amidst the Unsung feelings gushing by,

While running down the memory lane;

You struggle within yourself  to defy,

The moments that brought the pain.

Walking along with the voices of the past,

You yearn to mend a new story of your own.

At a whole new place with a whole new cast

Nevertheless, being pelt by the old stone.

Despite all,the strengths you gather,

To fight the odds that gracefully fill

You still love it's gleam rather,

Than waking up to the dreams that are unstill.
